Reading and Writing Foundations -- Online
30 min - 1 hour
Virtual One-on-One expertise in building important foundational reading and writing skills. I specialize in nurturing young and middle grade learners' reading and writing skills through personalized tutoring sessions. I am skilled at creating a supportive and engaging online learning environment, tailored to each child's unique needs.
For beginning learners, I build foundational knowledge with the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham approaches.
By grade 3 most learners do well with 45 minute or hour long sessions. For younger learners, regular yet short (30 minute) virtual lessons can be very effective as they offer more opportunities for practice through games, shared reading, and personalized activities while building their stamina. Although many of us parents want to limit screen time, the right online tools really do capture and hold children’s attention!
Grades 2-12 Online Writing Lessons

Grammar, sentence structure, idea generation, and more—tailored to your child’s unique needs! Whether they need support with a class assignment, personal essay, or creative story, I’m here to help.
Book Club
30 min - 1 hour
Looking for support in getting your child interested in reading? Through book club, I will work with your child to select books that interest them and help them build stamina in reading.
